The collection consists of five items pertaining to a meeting of bond-holders held at the Cannon-street Hotel, London, in 1881, and it's ramifications: newspaper clipping regarding the meeting; bond agreements dated September 23, 1871, between George Samuel McKay and Charles Inman, and Inman and an unnamed party; form for registration of bonds; notice and report of the meeting held May 31, 1881; a letter written on The Confederate States Bondholders' Committee letterhead, dated July 20, 1881, to Charles Inman, signed "Gabriel Lindo," containing the names of the Committee members.

The collection consists of miscellaneous writings and compilations of historical records collected and compiled by workers of the Works Progress Administration of Georgia and Georgia Writers' Project from 1934-1942. Inculded are the Works Progress Administration of Georgia History Records Survey, Field Worker's Correspondence Forms; State Editorial Identification Forms; Questionnaire to all mayors for data on points of interest in cities; Federal Writer's Project, Instructions for Architectural Series, American Building Materials; and correspondence from Works Progress Administration of Georgia, Atlanta, Georgia, regarding compilation of The American Guide and the State Guide. The remainder of the collection contains histories of Georgia cities, towns, and people, including (but not limited to) hospitals, parks, military organizations, landmarks, music, architecture, and agriculture.

Forms included: Letters patent; Tax in kind, form no. 2; Invoice of medicines, instruments, hospital stores, bedding, etc.; and miscellaneous Confederate hospital forms (notifications of death, applications for leave of absence, and medical certificates). The collection also consists of blank passes from the War Department (Ladies' passport, Fredericksburg Rail Road only, Central Rail Road only, Petersburg Rail Road only, and Soldier's passport).

The collection consists of business and personal letters, 1860-1946 (and undated) reports, University forms, University extension lectures on Greek Drama, and approximately 600 manuscript cards in Greek and English concerning a translation of the Bible (New Testament gospels) done by Dr. Bocock. The collection also contains fifteen volumes of World War I scrapbooks, including an index. These scrapbooks contain clippings, printed material, a few letters, pictures, and maps. All pertain to World War I and the subsequent peace treaties.
